About the Owner

Isabel Paula

Babalette, Inc.®™  was founded  and is owned by Isabel Paula, a native of Spain and transplanted New Yorker who, after almost two decades in corporate America. Isabel decided to apply her business acumen to the fashion world to create her own shapeware

At her corporate job and in her New York City social life, Isabel found the need for shapeware she could trust and feel good in. Yet, no matter how many brands she tried, she was always left unsatisfied. She no longer wanted to deal with irritating seams, and uncomfortable and unattractive shapeware designs.

She knew she was not alone, and took a leap of faith to create Babalette's comfortable, seamless, sexy  glamorous garments.

Among her many philanthropist activities, Isabel has become an avid advocate against child labor abuses and actively promotes start-up, women and minority owned businesses. All of her designs and products are made exclusively with companies that value
her beliefs and rights of workers world-wide.

Isabel is always introducing new top-quality garments, and further developing its existing line of products, to continuously adapt to the ever growing needs of the American women, while she has also
advised over 500 small businesses about their models and readiness.
